 What is Trinity Village?

Trinity Village is a village of caring individuals offering hope for hurting & troubled boys who are in need of emotional, spiritual and academic healing. Trinity Place Village offers an accredited day school, where each student’s individual needs are addressed regardless of race, cultural or religious background.

 

What is our Mission?

The mission of Trinity Village Preparatory School is to provide a faith-based academic instruction for boys (ages 10-15) whose social histories suggest a need for a more structured environment than their current school is able to provide.

Trinity Village Prep students are provided with academic instruction and remediation based on their individual needs.  Our school addresses the emotional and behavioral challenges that many young people experience today that public school are unable to address.

Our goal is to provide an academic program that will give students confidence in their ability to succeed.

 

 

·        Trinity Village Prep offers small classrooms with the latest technology and  technical programs

·        Trinity Village Prep has a seven to one student to teacher ratio that will   insure personalized learning

·        Trinity Prep will hold group sessions once a week. Discussions on life skill topics such as:

·        Boys are 3 times more likely to be enrolled in specialized classes

·        Of students diagnosed with learning disabilities 73% are boys

·        Of students diagnosed as emotionally disturbed 76% are boys

·        Boys are more likely to be retained in the same class, or drop out of school

·        Boys are 4 times more likely to be referred to a school psychologist

Curriculum

Trinity Village Prep School uses the successful Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) for its curriculum. This program is flexible and will enable each student to work individually at his own pace and monitored by a NC Certified instructor. 

 

   Admissions Criteria

·        Boys ages 10-15

·        IQ 80 or above

·        Moderate emotional & behavioral problems (such as depression, anxiety, oppositional defiant behavior, lying, poor social skills, poor self-image etc.)

·        Must live within a 60-90 mile radius of Trinity Village

·        No drug or alcohol dependencies

·        No history of sexual offending

·        No history of pyromania
